I remember this topic getting some discussion a while back but here we go again: On my '10 CF31QB the TV mount is over the kitchen sink and attached with an arm. My question is how do you secure your 26" flat screen in place so that it does not need to be removed each timeyou get ready to travel. There is a Crossroads warning sticker in place concerning the safety of leaving this set unsecured while in motion. Would a single retention strap secured into the stud at both ends work?

Since I am not the handiest person on earth a simple fix would be appreciated.

I use a bungee running diagonally across the flat panel to a hook on each end. It's simple to install, simple to use and keeps the panel flat against the wall while traveling.

Our TV fits into an overhead cabinet type arrangement. The strap would have to be permanently attached to the stud behind the cabinet.

I used the strap that is for the table chairs and recliners along with the tie downs that were on the floor and mounted them top, bottom, left and right behind tv and it don't move. I did put a sponge in a pillow case the size of the t v that I put between the straps and screen of t v.
