TV screen cracked

We had a weird thing happen on our last trip and personally we have never had this happen before and curious if anyone else has had this happen? A couple of weeks ago we were on a trip to Mackinaw City, Mi. and then back to the house for a short stay and then off again for a week trip to southern Indiana. While in Michigan everything was fine with the TV, we had some ruff roads on the way up there but came back home another way that had a lot smoother ride. About a week at the house and we were off again and when we got to our first stop on our week trip we turned the TV on for a bit to find it had about 3 or 4 cracks in the screen starting from the middle of one side and running to the top and bottom of the screen and one running across the screen. The trip to our first stop was pretty smooth and we have traveled this route several times in the past. The TV is pretty solidly mounted and nothing is close enough to it to have hit it. Of course we are out of warranty so we will have to bite the bullet and replace the 50" TV ourselves and we are hopping that we don't have it happen again. Was just wondering if anyone else has had something like this happen in their rear living or rear entertainment floor plans?
