I’ve totally messed up big time! Thanks for letting me join this group! I accidentally left the water running to my flush tank for over 3 hours! Luckily there wasn’t too much inside my camper and I was able to dry it out completely. However, underneath there is a ton of water. I poked several holes to release the water. Thankfully my tank was already cleaned out before this happened. I’m a full time camper, how much damage have I done??
I had a water fitting break that flooded the underbelly. The first thing you want to do is open up the belly and remove all of the wet insulation and let everything dry out before attempting repairs. Fortunately my insurance covered the damage that was over $4000.
As you have just found out, tank flush should only be used with tank valve open and draining.. Hard lesson learned. Hopefully the damage is minimal.
I leave the valve closed for a few minutes to get a good rush of the water to clean the tank out.
The real point is to never leave the hose on and walk away.

I’m well aware of how to flush the tank. As I stated the water was accidentally turned on. I was just trying to get any comments as to what anyone thinks the damage might be. Thanks!
I agree with Russo. Dropp the bottom and and check the insulation, if wet remove it and throw it away. Let it dry out completely before you add new insulation and reinstall the bottom. It happens. Just dry it out completely.

Where was the water leaking from on the inside?
Are you sure you got it completely dried out? Water tends to travel in the smallest out of sight places that are sometimes hard to see.
