What is this connector

Behind my passenger front tire this wire is obviously broken. But what type of connector is this.

So it is basically a connection to connect the green and white wires together?

It's a splice connector. You'll want to see which wire was broken or ripped out. From what I remember, you should have two wires coming through the axle, which connect to the electric brakes inside the hub. Mine was torn off inside the hub by a blown tire (the previous owner had a blowout). That wire should have a connection..

You may need to pull the wheel and hub off to find the connection.

There should be two wires there... I only see one.

They are just waterproof connectors.. there is waterproof grease inside them.

I bought the one I listed and they've come in handy a number of times. I keep a few spares in my tool kit.

I just looked at your photo again. Yes, that's probably what it connects.. to the black wire you have hanging there by the axle.

And no, those connectors don't come apart that easily. I did it once but they're pretty much single use.

Yeah.. I agree but the price is right and they do come in handy.. I've used them a few times.

Glad I could help.
