We just traded in our old Cruiser for a 330SS. We want cable in the bedroom.
We took the cover off the antenna connection and were stumped.
There are two cables coming into the box. One must be for the antenna, but what is the other for?
There are three cables coming out of splitter. One must go to the bedroom and one must go to the connection in the storage compartment. What the heck is the third to?
On our CF335 the two cables coming in are Antenna and campground cable connection. The three output cables are for themain salon, bedroom and storage compartment. We also have a separate satellite connecton which feeds only the main salon. There is also a switch to select Antenna or Cable.
Sorry I was talking about the connection for the antenna that is behind the LR TV. We unscrewed it from the wall and there were two cables coming into the box and three going from the splitter. For right now, we just pushed it all back into the wall and screwed that plate back on.
We have a 335SS too - wife was sold on the center island.
The switched box is fed from the antenna and cable. Antenna feed should be directly from the antenna and the cable feed is from the connection in the large storage compartment.
The switch is positioned to the source that you have available.
I think the bedroom connection is fed from the "switched" connection so whatever is selected is what feeds the bedroom.
Also, under the big storage compartment is a TV connection and power connection in case you wanted to watch TV outside. I assume it is tied to the living room switch too.
I am not sure what the third would go to - have not found another connection in the trailer.
Ours doesn't have a toggle switch. Behind the LR TV there are two connections. One is for cable/satellite and it labeled. One is for antenna with the little booster button. We have to move the cable to the connector we want to use.
Yes - we really like the center island too. The larger bathroom (toilet room) was a big selling point too. We have used the outside/storage connection on our old Cruiser when we camp during football season.
