Hello, In January 2020 my wife and I purchased a 2019 Sunset Trail 288BH. We haven't used it yet but I've spent a lot of money buying "stuff" We are completely new to RVing and have a lot to learn. John and Alice
Everyone was a first timer at one time. Just remember to have fun and dont sweat the small stuff. If you run into anything you need help with just ask. Someone on here has been there done that.
Enjoy!

Completely agree. Welcome and remember the only stupid question is the one you don’t ask.

Congrats on the new camper and welcome to the forum...This is the best place to be when you are first starting out, a lot of great info...I know this from my own experience...I see you are from Pa... You might want to check out the rally thread because there is a good one in May every year, this year in Carlisle pa. The name is "2020 Northeast Adventurers RV Rally"...

Welcome aboard JohnC it really does take some gear to out fit a new RV I was surprised at all the stuff needed. First thing I did not have was a saw to cut a limb so I could extend the awning out. Go figure. Have fun I am about to start for this year-still working.

Two of the most important "must have" items would be;
#1 a surge protector/EMS in the amperage of your RV.
#2 an adjustable water pressure regulator, not that little restrictor the dealer may have given you.
Everything else is '"cause you want it" stuff.
