Hello from Washington State.
I am the owner of a new 2018 CrossRoads Sunset Trail 210FK.
Looking forward to taking it out camping. No long haul road trips tho.
At least not yet. Still pretty confused over all the bells and whistles this thing has.
I am sure within time I have everything down and understood.
Right now I'm in the 》 Oh Boy , what did I do stage. Lol.
I am so glad you guys are here. I know I'll have tons of questions.

I know the feeling, we picked up a new to us last summer, for the very first time in our life. But after a couple weeks on the driveway, plugged in, going through it with a fine tooth comb, adding this and that like a shelf where needed, repairing odds and ends like a loose weather strip, and a half dozen questions on this forum like how to get the fridge to work because it was to far off level, took it to on a close-by campground for a trial run after a couple weeks and never had a hiccup.. Keep a paper and pen handy to keep a list of everything you want to add to your home on wheels, cause you'll always forget something first time around. Happy camping..

Slider awning cover
The next thing I need to get is , 1 awning cover for my slide out.
I would hate for it to leak. Any suggestions and advice ?
Not asking dealer to install it. It would be there 3 months I'm sure.
Would an Rv Repair and Service Center be able to do this work.

Yes, an rv service center can put on a slide topper. As far as worrying about the slide leaking, there shouldn’t be a problem unless you are not set up level. Then the high side can cause rain water to drain into your coach from that slide.
Many people love the slide toppers and and some don’t. You should be able to find past threads regarding these if you use the search feature, typing in “slide topper”.

Hello from Washington state
Thank you for the great reply. I think I will have that installed before Winter. But will have to play it by ear to see if it's really needed. If not , I wont go to the trouble. Rv Repair shop is about 40 miles south of me.
Not too far to go for installation
I will go thru the topic you mentioned for more info.
Thank you to everyone for being patient with my list of questions.

My 5er has toppers on all the slides they're great & suck at the same time.
Living in the Pacific northwest they would be great with all the trees/rain & not a lot of wind. If you're in the southeast part of your state where the wind blows they'll suck, flapping/popping/tearing/driving you nuts.
They do help keep the slides a bit cooler, keep lots of debris off the slide roofs, improves the looks of the rv, but can be a PITA.

Hello from Washington state
Cosmetic flaw repairs were inexcusable.
I raised Cain. Made them take it back.
So I will be getting something else.
