We are new to camping, but are very excited about taking our new Sunset Trail Reserve out this summer with our three little boys!! Does anyone know of some nice family friendly campgrounds in Georgia, Tennessee, or Alabama? We have been to a couple of campgrounds, but particularly would like to find some with a good area for bike riding with our little ones.

We really liked Jellystone Cosby... Note that the place is small so biking would be minimal. Nice owners and the place was really kept up.

Thanks! We've stayed in Jellystone Bremen, GA which was nice and had many activities for the kids. It was new, though, and had minimal trees and wooded lots.

As mentioned; Fall Creek Falls (they have a lot of sewer sights now and take reservations)
Also check out, Stone Mountain (East of Atlanta, GA), Land Between Lakes (North of Clarksville, TN), Henry Horton State Park (North of Lewisburg, TN)

Pigeon Forge is hard to beat for a family outing. Lots of things to do; just take lots of money! Lots of nice campgrounds, too. One of our favorites is RiverEdge (one word). The Trolley cars come by often and can take you anywhere you want to go for about 50 cents. You don't have to drive your car anywhere unless you want to. Pine Mountain RV Resort is nice, too, but off the main drag by about 2/3 mile (on Pine Mtn Road). The trolley comes by there, though. The same folks that own the RV Resort also own the Mainstay Suites across the road and, if it's raining, you can use their inside pool.

when in Nashville, we love the Music City campground. family owned and very nice with pool, short walking trails, and updated playground. Stayed there twice with our two kids. Also, not too far from the Corvette Museum in Bowlingreen, KY. kids loved that day trip from the campground
