What does it cost to replace a black water valve? --------$645.00 What a crock! It is because of the service labor rate and very poor design by the manufacturers. The valves are located up inside the lower unit, well away from easy access. Thewaste water valves should be located within an easy access boxed area, not buried above the insulation and under belly cover. It just amazes me at what the RV designers are thinking when they design these rigs. There is so much thought put into the interior design; and they do a great job.(except fot the location of the table in our Seville 35RL, where the table is so close to the front wall that anyone larger than a five year old cannot sit at the front side of the table) That was corrected after a paper war with Crossroads. Our previous 5th Wheel a 32 5D Wilderness had no such problems, and we had it 11 years. Our Seville 35RL is only two years old, and the valves are breaking and sticking. There is no excuse for installing such cheap junk in a $70,000 unit. There has to be a better design!. Look at the valve in the toilet drain; it works so smoothly that one would wonder why cannot this type of a valve be used instead of the pull-push sticky valve. Anybody else have this problem??
