Yet Another New Beeee

Howdy
Just picked up a 26 zinger, first trip is in 2 weeks.
New to trailers, but did lots of camping in the boating world.

At least with the trailer, when i stop, i dont have to put the anchor out to keep me in one place or sleep with one eye open to make sure im not moving...

Best of luck with your new Zinger. Only thing different is you get out of your vehicle to anchor the Rv with wheel chocks. Enjoy your first trip and check er out thoroughly.

Welcome to the the Crossroads Family and the wonderful world of RVing.

Technically, you could accidentally leave your truck in neutral and forget to chock your trailer at a hilly campground, thus rolling away while sleeping isnt entirely out of the question..

My Dad always told me the only thing better than owning a boat is a close friend owning a boat!

Of course with the weather we area currently having on the East coast....floating away in a trailer could almost BE like boating... sooooo if you're in Pa this weekend and the trailer is moving, throw out the anchor.

Hello and welcome. Congrats on the new to you zinger. We have a 2011 26BL and love it. It's Been really good to us. No complaints about it. Only reason we are trading soon is we want a rear entertainment floor plan. I think you will find your new tt will bring you many happy years of camping.

Judging from the comments looks like i still need to carry an anchor.
That would put me over weight, what can i not carry to make up for it.

Lets see.
beer nope, water nope, food nope, dog nope, wife......hmmm

Pete,

Not touching that.

Your train of thought and order of importance in your post is interesting though. I took a psychology course 20 years ago, so that make me qualified to make the following observation:

1. Beer is more important than water
2. Water is slightly more important than food
3. Food is more important than Dog.
4. ...again...not going there.

Hmmm...Well there are certain things a man must have. First three as I see it are must haves. Trim the last two...see how that works.

Just make sure you don't take the wife and GF on the same trip. That leads to all sorts of trouble, and you'll be sleeping with one eye open for the long haul.

Wow, I think I've got one just like it! However, my Yukon is an 07 and white. So far I am really happy with the combination.

Just a question, what moved you toward buying the Zinger RL? How do you like it?
