Travelers World RV Park, San Antonio, TX (multiple locations in the US)

We just spent a week there while attending the VFW National Convention. While the park itself was not in the elite part of town once inside the park you forgot about it. Very clean, great people, nice amenities. Pool, spa(104 deg), immaculate laundry room, etc. It was conveniently located for us since the convention was in downtown. It took about 10-12 minutes to go from the park to downtown. We wouldn't hesitate to go back and do more sightseeing. We were located about the middle of the Mission Trail. 2 mi to Wallyworld and great food nearby. And best of all, Sun-Thur active duty, retired, and even one shot draftee's got a military discount of 50% off. We showed a VFW Membership card and that was good enough. One week in a premium pull-thru slot (full hook-ups, 50A) was $189. Can't beat that.....

Spent four nights there in Dec, 2010, great location for visiting San Antonio area. In addition the Alamo and River Walk another very interesting place nearby is the Buckhorn Museum and Salon with a large collection of horns, Texas Ranger exhibits, etc.
