Titusville (Mims) FL KOA Campground
Hello All,
We just got back from 4 days at the KOA campground in Titusville (Mims) FL.
The park is located on SR46 about 1/4 mile West of the I-95 junction 223.
They have a hundred or so lots in a very pleasant rustic setting, a fair portion are long term which adds to the friendly and comfortable feel of the place. Dotted about the campground are a selection of various sized log cabins along with the usual bathroom and laundry facilities.
Most of the sites are the flattest and smoothest concrete ever. I didn't need ANY leveling aides, the site was dead level, and ours had space for my truck and a car.
Each site has nicely positioned alongside the concrete a fire pit and pedestal BBQ grate along with the standard 6' table and attached benches.
The staff here are all very courteous and attentive. Having the luxury of being able to top off my propane while my wife checked out was a great bonus.
Immediately outside is the best stocked and nicest staff in a Dollar General store I've ever encountered.
Of those we spoke to during our evening ambulations throughout the park, many it seemed were repeat visitors, some snowbirds using it as a stop on their way back North, others like us, just taking a break from the 9 - 5 elsewhere in the state.
Overall our stay was short but exceedingly pleasant, I will be back again certainly.
