Stopping mice at powercord

Might be worth mention, maybe not. I'm a tad concerned about the possibility of mice getting up into the trailer by climbing the 30amp power cord. I realize many are installing the detachable Marinco ParkPower kit but I find the cost a tad steep at $130.00 Canadian @ Amazon.ca. So what I did is cut a 2 inch by 2 inch 1/4 inch plywood, drilled a 5/8 inch hole and then opened the hole to outside perimeter with the bandsaw. When the cord is out just slide over the cord from the top and the extra hole space is covered/sealed. The bottom that looks open from the picture is sealed because of the inside frame for the trailer cover. I painted mine black, and made a couple incase old age looses. Cost was zero about.
