Highlander,
Ventilation Needed:
I figure thatany new vehicle that is purchased these daysgases off a cocktail of chemicals, especially as the temperature increases. We keep our new automobiles well ventilated for the first few months. On our camper you will always find a roof top vent and a window cracked open. Commercial buildings are all designed for so many air exchanges per hour. So, ventilate and keep healthy.<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com

I worked with two young men that drove their brand new fieldservice vehicle to a job-site. On a hot sunny day they left it closed up and parked in the sun. Upon their return to the vehicle they turned on the A/C in the recirculation mode (no fresh air into the cab) and then drove 45 minute back to our shop. They were both sick as dogs.
Now, on high end vehicles you will notice that if you do put your A/C into recirculation mode it will only stay there fora fewminutes. It is better for the A/C unit and the passengers.
