This topic was lightly discussed previously a while back:

Are you Cruiser owners aware that you must have your Cruiser inspected yearly during the five year frame warranty by an authorized Crossroads dealer? Look at the last page of your warranty book. The requirement is there in black and white. Once you have the inspection completed you must fax or mail the certification into Crossroads.

This is a small price to pay for five year's peace of mind.

Mine goes in next month for inspection. Yes this has been discussed in several threads the last year or so, but it is always good to remind everyone.

Mainly a roof inspection and checking caulking around windows and doors. It is at owners expense. Look in your warranty section of your manual and it will list the major inspection requirements.

I am having the inspection done on the 1st. I'll post the price at that time. The dealer indicated there was no charge but I do not believe that.

As Dale said, look in the warranty book as it lists all the details of what is required.Edited by: artgpo

Don't forget the fridge as well. My 2007 had a fridge inspection requirement for the first 3 years. it was written in the owners manual towards the last few pages.

My dealer has always done my inspection as part of other normal maintenance work I have done each year and doesn't really charge me for the inspection. As far as the refridge inspection, our '07 had a Dometic refridge that had a 3 year warranty and required an annual inspection by the dealer. Our '10 30sk has a Norcold refridge and according to the Norcold warranty that I found with the trailer, it only has a one year warranty, so I guess no inspection is required. Not sure why Crossroads went from a Dometic with 3 year to a Norcold with only one year. Probably cost!!

we bought our zinger in june, it is a 2010 but had sat on the lot since may '09. anyways i asked the service mgr about a roof inspection/requirement and she stated "oh, its o.k if you do it, there isnt anything we need to write down"

now from what i've read on here she's misinformed.... or is she.

In other threads regarding the warranty inspection requirements it was heavily discussed that many dealers had no idea there was an annual inspection requirement. It is clearly stated in the warranty section of your manual. If your dealer doesn't know about it, show them the section in the manual. The final responsibility for this is yours, not the dealers. This does only apply to trailers that have the 2 + 5 year structural warranty.

I have had mine inspected for the last four years. </span>Unfortunately for me my selling dealer is not in

my state so I pay about $160.00 for the inspection. I have gotten quotes for

$300.00. I think it's based on the dealer. The place I go charges $160.00 an hour

for service and the inspection takes about an hour.

They used to have a PDF on the frist page but it appears to be gone. I would send a message to CR and they should be able to send you an electronic copy of the owners manual. Edited by: Chrisnan23

The annual inspection requirement along with what is to be inspected can be found in the warranty section of the Crossroads website.

Here is the location: http://www.crossroadsrv.com/about/warranty.asp Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the page.Edited by: artgpo

Just a FYI - do not rely on your local dealer as the sole source of a inspection of your coach. You, as the owner, need to take the time to review roof/windows/doors/baggage openings/etc. for potential issues.

Take this from an owner who has seen a lot.

Can't find mention of 5 year Lippert "frame" warranty on Crossroad website. Where is it?
