Guess we better pack plenty of 'smelling salts' for our northern friends who don't understand 80 deg, much less in April. That's not even warm enough to get he pool ready.

Getting antsy....

Well..... we just can't wait until the rally to get on the road; it been three months already. Got two new axles, two new tires, refrigerator fan and several other items repaired and will pick it up Saturday and head to Lake Livingston for a week of readjustment.

Marvin, that sounds like our trailer. I either have to fix something on it or take it to be repaired after each trip we take. It is going into the shop this Saturday to have 4 things repaired from our last trip before the rally.

While I appreciate the invitation and hospitality there is a reason I live down south. I enjoyed a nice winter in Korea one year courtesy of Uncle Sam. Never again.

I completely agree with Frank. While I sleep a couple of hours longer these days the days seem a couple of hours longer as well.

While talking to a scheduling person at the Dr's office yesterday she explained the test they wanted to give was available on Mon thru Fri. I told here those days are not on my calendar and she inquired what was. My replay, mine now has 6 Saturdays and one Sunday. Without missing a beat she asked which Sat I wanted to come in on. She also noted a 10AM written on my chart. I explained we don't answer the phone before then.

There is a big difference between being busy at WORK and being busy RETIRED. Yes Hal andI will be busy after we retire with our new business venture but that will be on our time and schedule.

As of yesterday it looks like we will have Doug Richards of Redwood and Mike Marsh of Explore USA in Mesquite, Tx. at the rally. We are trying to get it setup with Buckhorn so they can bring a unit out for tours (probably a Redwood). I will firm these plans up next week. I am still working with Crossroads to see if Dave Boggs replacement will be attending.

Keith,

Carol and I will have to cancel on the rally, we have had something come up that requires to be in Tusaaloosa Alabama on the 19 of April. Sorry to miss this one, we had so much fun last year. If you plan a rally for next year, we will be there. I will call Buckhorn tomorrow to cancel the reservation. Sorry, we will miss everyone, enjoy.

I'll go along with { keeping busy for the next 6 weeksLOL } I just took ours out of the toy box to start getting her all flushed out and the anti -freeze drained and stocking up . I'm going to air up the new 10 ply's on the F150 to 75 lbs and take her out for a 50 or 60 mil. test run to see it they stop the swaywe got from the 4 ply { P } we replaced but haven't had a time to tryyet . We are keeping our fingers crossed for a week of dry so the roofers can get our new steel roof on ! They say it will take 4 to 5 dry days to get it done but I'm sure we WILL have that before next month but if not I guess we'll have to stay home AND that willtick me off !!

Dream on. Then you will be at the beck and call of your customers. Just remember being self-employed means: No paid holidays, vacation days, sick days, ETC. Wishing you all the success but the more you have the less time you have off....

When I started out I had plenty of time to do a lot of things I didn't have the money for. Now I have the money and no time. Strange how that works out.
