Well we are about a month away now. I do still have a couple of spots open if anyone would still like to attend. I sure hope this weather we have been having the last couple of weeks will hold up, highs between 70* and 80* and lows in the low to mid 60's.

I have been watching that thermometer on Buckhorn's web site and it sure looks good to me.
Altho, we will be in the 70s today ourselves.

I been watching the weather too and it looks like a little rain next week. I know you all need a little more but better getting it now and be nice next month. We bring the 5er home next week for a trip to the beach to shake down and inventory check for the trip to Texas. We are so excited about going and can not wait to meet all everyone.

I have all my list updated and will post them next week. We have told the dealer making repairs to our trailer that if they don't have it finished by 4/14 we are coming to get it so no telling what kind of shape it will be in if that happens.

Everyone be glad we are not having the rally right now. We would all be banging on the Mississippi Rainman's trailer door this morning. We had some bad storms come through the area overnight. I know Steve Ford and his wifewere out there in it last night in their new Rushmore at Garner SP.

YES, ourtruck & RV survived the heavy rains (3.5") & 3 hail storms. Another camper not so lucky, lost his sky light in the 2nd hail storm, of course he had SOB.

A few days back I was just happy for a little rain for the area but not the RED BOX from hell. It covered almost all of central Texas and would move to the east as time went on. Hope there was not much damage to anyone here from the rain, hail or twisters that were around in the same time period.

WRONG Rally Master, I haven't told you, we received the new 2012 Dodge Megacab on Fri, March 2nd. We had the hitch put on, March 7th & then hit the road. It has a lot of dirt, from the storm, & can't see any damage & I don't think there is.

Well give us your report so far on the new truck? I guess you have not had it long enough to tell one way or the other. Getting the 4.10 gear should really be nice towing.

Ok Kieth if you are going to be this way Hoover is packing his water wings, and a duck intertube for Rainbow. Steve I took the rear head rest out of our Mega cab so I could see to hook up easier. So far neither Hoover or Rainbow have complained

Keith, I changed my mind & went with the 3.73. I now only have 1200 miles on the truck, so far so good. Frank, we leave the seats down most of the time when pulling the RV. With the seats laying down, I have to remove the rear headrest, so our German Shepherd, can jump between the seats, when entering the truck.

Steve, you can give us a report on the truck at the rally. I want to try and keep this post from turning into a "truck" post like the other rally post has and keep it on track for the rally.

After updating my attendee list last night we do have two spots open for anyone still wishing to attend. We lookto have a great turnout this year and I am still working with the factory and a dealer on a few things for the rally.

Keith as I write this there is a lot of rain falling outside, Hoover said it is from you. As he has attended a lot of your rallies he is out side swimming laps just to be sure
