I am here. I will not be attending the rally because I have to go to TX on that Sunday. I intend to take Friday off so I can be there all day and I will be there Saturday as well.

Stan -- I am jealous. The rally will be our first trip, same as last year because of the amount of vacation time I have to spend Can't wait to see everyone. Seems like it has been an endless winter Things are looking up though, today is the first day of Spring.

Walt, Steve and I will try and visit you at Pinch Pond. We don't know if Steve will be done work or not by then. Thank you again for taking over the Northeast Rally when Bob Snaidach gave it up. Who would have thought by a few people talking on the internet we would have so many years of great rallies. Remember the first one at Eagle's Peak? it rained as usual for these rallies. We have made some wonderful friends from those rallies. We have had a lot of great camping with those friends through the years. Thanks again Walt for taking over and always doing a great job. You and Lindy have become our really good friends and we look forward to camping with you guys in the future. We would like to visit you guys and see some of our other friends at the rally. So keep a place open at your campsite. Tommy spring will get here I promise.
Linda

We will "leave the light on" for you.

My 'job" was easy....finding campgrounds to hold the rally.
It took all you wonderful people to make this and the Mason Dixon rallies the success that they are.
Lindy and I are privaleged to count all of you as friends.
We enjoy camping with you all so very much and look forward to many more.

Linda -- Glad to hear from you, it will be nice to see you and Steve at the rally even if it is just a visit. I can't agree with you more about the job that Walt and Lindy did with the rally. After all if it wasn't for Walt we (Rosie & I) would not have gotten to know all the great people in this group. Can't forget those who camp with Mason/Dixon also, as some of them don't come to Northeast Rally due to distance. All great people Can't wait untill May.

Wish we could join ya but the mother in law will be in town and she doesn't do the camping thing. We dewinterized a few weeks ago and have been out the last 2 weeks with it. Made some new friends near us and had a blast. Hope you have as good of a trip.

Stan,
I envy you so much. I'm heading to the hardware store for some ice melt...talked to the owner of the company where my old unit is stored...she okayed doing whatever I had to get my unit out. Found out yesterday that my dealer won't register my new unit until I turn this one over to them...so I need to get moving...I have to have those plates here before we leave April 19th. So, cast on my leg or no cast...I'll be doing some digging today...wish me luck LOL

Travel well,
Jim

Stan,
Well, maybe my fortunes have changed...went to church today, had our Palm Sunday breakfast there, and lots of people coming up asking me about the air cast on my leg. One young fellow who is in a men's group with me sympathized with me and said his uncle has a skid-steer loader so he's going to try to bring it this Friday to "dig" me out. If he can and it works, I'll be taking the 2012 down to the dealer...although I won't be ready to pick up the new unit yet. Not enough hours in a Sat to go through the PDI and get instructions on fifth wheel hookup LOL So, I'll wait for a weekday when I can spend several hours with them...meanwhile the plates will get ordered. Thanks for the offer on the May campout, unfortunately I'll be in Athens, OH for a college graduation But, I promise I'll try to make one of your rally's one of these days...now that we'll be full-timing.

Last questions Stan, looking for a campground near Eagle Rock, VA, any knowledge in that area? I do understand it's in the mountains but I have a niece who lives there and I want to go visit her this fall.

Thanks Stan, Travel Well,
Jim

Anaro,
Not broken, tore my Achilles Tendon, waited too long to see a doctor...now I have bone spurs so they immobilized it for now, rehab to follow...hopefully no surgery...I'm not only coming to VA but I'll be in Richmond, VA, Chapel Hill, NC, and Charlotte, NC....you anywhere near there?

Jim

Jim.. that sucks about your tendon. sadly those usually need surgery. I hope you are lucky enough to avoid it though.
