First of all, 16" wheels/tires allow for more weight to be placed on them than 15". Not real important on a light weight trailer like the cruiser. Most importantly, much higher quality tires available in 16" i.e. Michelin. Good 16" tires are going to cost considerably more but you eliminate the risks associated with the China made tires.
I went ahead and ordered a 29RK and will deal with the 15" tires if possible. One poster stated any shop can change them out, but I doubt that based on available wheel well room, especially in the pre '09 models It's been discussed on this forum in the past.
I did inquire to Crossroads what changes had been made in the Patriot model to facilitate 16" wheels and he stated "none". This tells me the '09 models with the redesigned wheel well skirts might just accommodate a larger wheel.

My 2009 has ample room for a wheel upgrade.

We just got our new cf30sk Patriot addition. We traded our '07 cf30sk for the '10. I have to say that al the extras are well worth it to us. The wife likes all the interior changes and Ilike all the exterior goodies. Electric/Power everything. Great job by Crossroads!

Frank, we stay in the Gulf Shores, Alabama area from January to April. Anchors Aweigh RV Park. A great park, three years old.

We checked out Wales West in July. It looks much better on-line than in person. If you cannot get in the lower area, then don't go. The rest of the place is not quite up to par. (No facilities, no pads, no tables, hard to get into, etc.) We did like Styx River and the little park just further down that same road.

We were trailer shopping today and the dealer didn't know what I was talking about Patriot/Provincial pkg. Thought it was funny I seemed to know more about the options etc. available than what they had. They only had the basic units and they were nice too. Would probably help to have them better informed. Other customers like us that like nice stuff would be an easy upgrade.
