My furnace will not fire and the fan does not come on This happened the last time I used it last year. Ran out of propane switched the tank and it would not start. At the same time the ceiling lights in the living area will not come on seems the 2 are hooked to the same circuit. also when I pull the top fuse the red light comes on next to the fuse, I assume signaling an open circuit. Can anyone out there relate to this before I take it to the shop? Thanks
I would check the voltage 1st on the fuse box on the output side of fuse then the voltage at the furnace. If voltage at furnace maybe a propane sensor or thermostat
or?
Mine gave me the same problem at the start of this season. All fuses were good. Took the cover off the furnace outside and found an off/on switch on left side of the furnace. Threw the switch to off and back to on. Furnace now fires. Hope this helps.
