Carpet Wetness - bad sign

We have a 2019 38’ Cruiser fifth wheel. There is a 1 foot carpeted ledge on both sides of the pass through. Both sides of the carpet are soaked every time it rains. I have recaulked the molding and hinges, as well as adding another layer of foam weather strip....didn’t help. I now have a big bucket of damp rid underneath. Anyone else have this problem?

Is it possible your leak isn't coming in around the door, but maybe further up?
Have you checked the chalk around lights, windows, or any opening in the wall of your unit above the pass thru doors in question? If you haven't already done it, check the roof also.
Water intrusion is sometimes very difficult to track down. It sometimes has a way of traveling from the source to odd areas it seems.

Very true...since there is water around the doors of the pass through..I do think it’s door related
