Found the same problem on ours, bath vent cracked...

Found the same problem on ours, bath vent cracked under heavy caulk, could not see it but water got to it and leaked in shower. All fixed now.

I agree , that being safe is number one . But also I want to share, even though my manual also reads to jack it from the frame, I place my heavy duty floor jack under the u bolts, and raise it up....

Thanks Marty for the reply. That makes sense since it is only 6 gallons. Yep there is no way you can start off with the hot, or you will get burned. Found that out the hard way when we first got it....
