Winterizing

I have a Forest River and while winterizing I found a valve by the water pump. My camper water pump will pump antifreeze though the water system. I winterized the camper with the valve in both places. Can some one tell me what the extra valve is for?

Without seeing it this is only a guess. If it is in the suction side it is to pull from the tank or the antifreeze bottle when you winterize it.

Post pictures. In a newer camper the water pump is valved to a short hose to use for antifreeze.
