patriot CF335SS</span>Has anyone noted cracking in the bottom of the slide where the slide rollers make contact with the bottom of the slide - contact patch when the slide is fully in.
I have cracking in two areas - middle roller area and forth roller area.
First of all are you talking about the bedroom slide that has the 5 rollers about 6 inches long?
I have a CF335SS 2012 and had problems with my slide. What had happened was the outside trim was not sealed correctly and water got down in under the fiberglass sheet and the plywood flooring for the bed. The plywood got water soaked and the weight of the slide on the rollers cut grooves in the fiberglass that it rolled on. Thus I had to have that all replaced. The dealer I got mine from did the work and resealed the unit better than the factory. So far all is well. Crossroads fixed it under warranty.
As far as the other 2 slides I have had no problems other than a little adjustment is all.
Hope this helped you out a little.

My suggestion is to forget the metal strips. Thats not going to fix the problem. Have you checked the wardrobe area for a musty smell. From your pictures this is the same thing that happened to me. I would settle no more than REPLACING the floor board under the bedroom slide. The plywood flooring in mine was water soaked and that is the reason the nylon rollers broke through the fiberglass sheeting. Have your dealer do it or take it back to Crossroads.

my bedroom slide leaked in the same area the small trim piece on the bottom of the slide had flexed from the heat just enough to crake the seal. water was running down the wall and between the side wall and the trim piece and running in under the bed area. I had to reseal it and now no problems.
