I just looked at the CF305SK and it would appear that it is a taller version of the CF30SK. I assume that this is primarily to get the flat floors in the master bedroom. How do others feel about "flat floors" in the master bedroom? If you were buying today would you go that route? Are there any negatives for the 305 compared to the 30?
Thanks,

Just for space and convenience I would go the flush floor model. I am 6'3" so upper deck space is quite important to me. The overall exterior height isn't critical in this area of the country; log trucks are very tall in this area and all the bridges are 14' and higher. On my way to NM I think the lowest bridge I went under was 13'5"

I prefer the mid-profile 30sk. It is under 12 foot and doesn't push as much wind. The bath/bed floor step doesn't bother us. Iam 5' 10" andDW is5' 2". I made a carpeted filler piece for the bathroom side of the bed that raises that floor area to same as bedroom floor to eliminate the long drop on that side. Moved the floor register up also. Made a smaller carpeted piece for the closet side to fill in the gap so there was a level area to walk on that side. Works fine for us.

The 305 won't fit through my RV garage door. I'm 6' and the taller bedroom would be nice but the additionalexterior height would eliminate it from my list because I don't want a rig I can't get in my garage. That's howI found the Cruiser. I was looking for a mid profile fifth wheel that was 12' or less high.

I can understand the need for it to fit in storage or within the limits of the area you live. It's nice they make both!! I wonder if a drop frame would help to lower the front height?

I can address the flat floor as our present unit does not have them. It is about the only negative thing in what has been a wonderful rig. If you are a night walker or otherwise a traveler or have some bout with diziness it is a little uncomfortable & even a little dangerous with out the floor being flat. We both are very much looking forward to our new one with flat floors. Being right near 6 ft tall I told the wife I would make the sacrifice of a little lower ceiling right close to the closet, my side of the bedto have them..IMHO

As you can see in the signature we own a 2010 CF30SKP. The "non-flush" floor is no issue for us at all. I am 5' 10".
I guess I would vote for the better gas mileage and shorter clearance to worry about.

A good group of pictures for the sk305 at Southern RV, Jonesboro GA. Go to new inventory, Fifth wheels.A outside electrical rec down low.(About time) Slam storage doors. Three steps to bath & bedroom. Good picture of flush floor. Don't understand back of bed, what is it??? (ugly)TV Mount, bed room, moved I guess for curved ceiling. Wife disappointed with bath. Only one cab over sink, shelves only in one beside. Coat rack in bath??? Two cabinets, with doors lost. I like the new graphics. Divider between front storage and rear.

Depends, If you have a hight restriction you may be forced to go with the SK30, also being on the short side 5'-9" the mid profile does not really bother me. However if I were taller andno hight restriction (IEstorage door),I would go with the high profile to eliminate the possibility of tripping/falling in the middle of the night and bumping the head on the ceiling. Its all about personal preference.

I have the CF305SKP and I'm happy with the flat floors in the master bedroom and the increased headroom. The extra exterior height of the trailer isn't that bad. The trailers front end is aerodynamic enough. In fact it pulls better than my old midprofile Cougar 281.
I can understand the height for inside storage but, I don't store inside.
