We have recently taken delivery of a SK 305, and will have our first trip next week. There is a switch on the wall on the left as you enter. It doesn't seem to do anything. Can anyone tell me what it is supposed to do?
We had a mystery switch too, turned out to belong to an outlet right outside the door at the top of the awning pole, It's to turn your awning lights on and off, at least that's what our mystery switch did! Good luck and let us know if that is what it is!
HI. We have the 2011 patriot 305 sk. Unless the floor plan has changed, which I do not believe it has your left as you enter is the side of the dining and couch slide.. Where exactly is this switch? There is a switch as Bob has described but it is in the switch and tank monitor control panel, facing you as you enter. That would be left of the stairs. Is that the one? If so I think Bob nailed it.Give us feedback. Thanks. Have a great trip and congrats on the new rig. Go Well

Thanks for your responses. The switch is in the wall, not in the control box. If you are inside the trailer looking out the door it is on the right at the height of a normal light switch. There is a switch in the control box for the 110v receptacle up by the awning.
The websitte for the Patriot/Provincial models say that it includes aTriple entry step, lighted. If you have a remote control unit, that may be controlling the light swithch.</span>
I have a 2013, 305SK, and had the oppertunity to take it out last year in Oct. The switch you are talking about is for the awning LED lights. The previous poster was correct. You also DO have an entry light on your steps. It is turned on when you turn on the light above your entry door. Good luck and congrats on the new SK.

I always wondered about those lights when I first saw them. Is there a wayto tell from outside if those lights are on when the awning is rolled up?You'd think that the designers would at least put one LED in plain view when the awning is rolled up.
