Picked up new CF285RL Patriot

[hhh]

Just picked up my new Crossroads Cruiser CF285RL Patriot. While on the

way home I figured I'd get it weighed so I know what I am starting with

and how I load it once I hit the road. Optional equipment added by

dealer was slide toppers and rear receiver. Here is what I found.





Advertised dry weights


Dry Weight - 8534 lbs


Pin Weight - 1917 lbs





Actual weight includes battery and full LP tanks.


Total Weight - 8820 lbs


Pin Weight - 2000 lbs





Truck weights with trailer and full tank of fuel are


Front - 3420 lbs


Rear - 4900 lbs





Truck Capacity


Front - 4000 lbs


Rear - 6010 lbs





Loaded the truck drops 3 1/4" at the rear bumper. So weights look good

and leave me enough room for supplies. Now if the weather would just

warm up

Good idea on weighing it on the way home. We'll be picking ours up on May 2nd and do the same thing.
