When I got the camper out for our Spring Break camping

outing, I noticed the cover on the slide topper is starting to peel on the top

layer. </span>I guess it’s time to replace

them. </span>Has anyone done this work

themselves? </span>Any tricks to replacing just

the material (i.e. is there a way to take the tension off the material and lock the tube in place)? </span>Are some materials better

than others? </span>I’ve never dealt with the

slide covers before, so any info on them would be welcome.

OK I found a "how to" video on YouTube, so I answered my question on the "how difficult is it" part. Anyone have experience with different materials? I saw some discussions on a sunscreen material. It keeps the leaves and stuff out, but water would still come through. Anyone else use this as a replacement?
