Soon to be crossroads owner
Just put a deposit on a 2013 Sahara 310 re, hope to pick it up next week.
Any "quirks" I should be aware of? Good or bad, I'd like to hear from any other Sahara owners.

Welcome to the family....you can do a search on these forums for some answers. I do not have much knowledge on the 13-models as we were not looking for trailers at this time. I am sure some other owners will chime in here later on...but a thorough PDI checklist and possibly an extended warranty might help you down the road...

When I switched to Crossroads, I started skimming the thread lists, read all that pertained to my model and any others of interest or import. There is a wealth of info but you have to winnow through it for what's useful to you. Just keep in mind that whatever bizarre or horrific thing you may read about is one case in thousands or ten thousands at the very least. Hardly anyone is moved to write about nothing happening. You can learn a lot of tips and things to be aware of so don't let it make you paranoid.
Probably the most universal and important tip is to be sure your vehicle is rated to haul your unit (and all your stuff), your unit rides level with appropriate hitch weight and your trailer tires are better than "adequate." Manufacturers are notorious for supplying legally adequate tires that have very little margin. Despite what I said above there are a lot of complaints about tire failure on line.
Welcome and enjoy!

Welcome and congratulations. I have the Crusier Patriot, sister to the Sahara and love it. Very few minor problems (knock on wood). Has been serving us well for almost 4 years now.

Change of plans!
looks like it's going to be a 2012 Patriot! Funny how things work out, eh?
Mark5w: are you towing that 335 with a f150? If so, I'm impressed...

Yup, F150 Ecoboost. Special ordered it with all the max payload, towing and modified the suspension with Roadmaster active suspension and changed rotors to slotted and drilled with brake pads made specifically for towing. This is the 4th summer towing with it and I've been up and down the east coast from PA to SC over the mountains in VA and never had a problem.

Mark5w: as a famous actress used to say"HOLY CRAP!"what's your trailer's loaded weight?
What kind of brake pads are you using? I've never heard of specialized pads for towing. How do they work for you, and where do you get them?

Got the brakes and rotors from Brake Performance. Semi Metallic (Premium) Brake Pads The pads are highly recommended for heavy work trucks, as well as all types of towing applications. Loaded weight is 10600. This is the first summer with them, and so far they're great. I only put on about 2000 miles with them about half of that towing.
