ZR 328SB Stereo Question

We just bought a 2017 crossroads ZR-328SB and cannot get the stereo and/or speakers [inside or out] to come on. Checked for a fuse, doesn’t have one on the stereo itself. Are we missing something simple?

There is usually a speaker selection button(s).

It would help if you posted up a photo. Lots of different options out there.

It may be on the remote.

The fuse on my radio was on the back side. I had to take it out of the wall to check it. If you do take it out, check that the wires are properly connected.

That is an aftermarket installation. Bought the same from Autozone for my GF's Jeep 1 year ago. Go on line for the installation instructions for a VDO5217BT. The power wiring is a bit confusing for which wire is hot always and which is switched.

Thanks. It powers on and dealer said it was working when we picked up the unit. Just not getting any sound. We’re just missing a step.

That looks like a car stereo. Did you try the balance and the fader? Are the speakers connected?

Thanks, balance and fade did it. One way changes indoor to outdoor speakers, one changes from front to back. Apparently the dealer has it wired correctly, we just weren’t making the right adjustments to get it working until this weekend. Still confounded by the menu system, particularly how it changes from one setting to another so quickly, plus how awful and incomplete the docs are.
