Furniture replacement

We have a sunset trails 2020 253 RB that we purchased this summer. We would like to change the sofa bed for recliners. I was wondering if anyone else had replace there’s and what they replaced it with. We are having a hard time finding a dealership to give us information on how to get recliners from crossroads, So we’re looking at other alternatives. Any info appreciated

Just got two electric recliners from RecPro. Real nice, free shipping. We got the Charles 30" wall huggers.

We bought a sleeper sofa and two wall hugging recliners from La-Z-Boy...We didn't like the original stuff that came with the camper...Plus had a problem with the original recliners...When stowed away for traveling they were extremely tight between the rear wall of the camper and the sides of the slides, which we thought could cause problems for us sometime in the future...

We bought an electric double reclining loveseat. It is zero clearance. I had my hip replaced and stayed in the rv for 6 weeks. I put these in a few days before surgery and loved the during recovery. Originally we had the 12' slide with a sofa bed and table and chairs. I swapped out the table and chairs for an L shaped dinette I already had and put it in the back by the picture window. Then I put a jackknife sofa on the slide beside the sofa bed because both could fold out at the same time. Now I have the jackknife and the recliners. I ended up with some extra space between them, so I built in a set of shelves. It all works very well.

Furniture replacement

Well, as promised update on replacing the uncomfortable and useless to us Jack knife sofa.
Couldn’t be happier. Ordered Tuesday, shipped Wednesday delivered on Friday.
Entire process was painless with Rec Pro, very impressive double protection packaging and delivery.
Install was easy with Mrs and I. Less than 30 minutes. Very comfortable now it turns into Deer camp for grandson and I ...perfect timing for upgrade.

You & the grandson get deer blood, or something worse, on that & I know who's heads will be mounted on the wall.

Thanks Lloyd, we opted for the cloth vs faux leather.
Seen too many faux leather deteriorate prematurely and the leather can be hot sticky in humid or hot days.
We have leather at home, and leather in my truck, but most of our camping is dry camping with limited generator use for AC
Cloth comes with a solid five year warranty, but the leather sure looks nice and plush, and five colors.

Still looking

I posted the original post. We are still looking to replace our tri fold sofa for recliners. We have a 2020 352RB in coastal color. We contacted our dealer and he gave us a price of $900.00 for the recliner, a few days later he emailed that shipping could cost up to $1500.00. We like the Charles from RecPro, we ordered samples that arrived today but we are concerned about the color match. Has anyone replaced furniture to match the coastal dinette?

Do you need rv camping chair for your rv? If you need you can refer some information about some kinds of this in here: https://vogeltalksrving.com/best-rv-...airs/#more-563 I think it will useful.

That looks great. How much clearance is needed for reclining? Or, can it be up against the wall?

Sorry late reply. Zero clearance, I think 3” from wall is all is needed. Not an issue like most recliners at home.

I realize I'm late to the game as far as discussion, but I'm going to give it a try.

How are they to sleep in? I have the couch, but it came with a blow up mattress that goes over couch and out into the room. Of course it got a hole quickly.

I was looking to replace the 2 recliners in the end, but I'm more than happy to replace the couch with this as well. Heck, maybe that would be enough and I would stick with the recliners as they are.

Thanks.

My first trip after replacing my couch with powered recliners was Labor Day weekend. My son was bringing his camper, and my granddaughter was staying in a cabin at the campground. After I got set up my granddaughter texted me and said they were about 45 minutes away. I got in one of the recliners and laid it back completely. The next thing I knew she was knocking at my door. I think they sleep quite well.

Hahahaha. That is great.

For the most part, I'm in the camper by myself. Myself and wife, next weekend. But, occasionally a kid or two comes along. Having a better spot for them, would be great. OR, I would be happy to give them the bed and I'll take the recliner.

Thanks for the reply.

Do you know the width of the furniture you put in?
Thx in advance!
