I just noticed this bubble the other day on my slide out rubber roof. Looks like it's been there for a while. I'm tempted to puncture a small hole, deflate, and cover with a piece of Eternabond. I'm concerned that at some point it'll get popped by the slide and create a bigger repair area.
Check to see if the slide gearbox is leaking oil. This is a known problem.
I'll check. If it's leaking, it'll probably need to be replaced, correct? I actually remember replacing that a year or so ago because it broke. Maybe the new one is leaking??

Yes, it did on mine. The dealer RV tech actually discovered it. The fix is a catch pan. Even if replaced with a new gear case, my understanding is that there is a good probability of a leak.

That makes sense. I bet it is directly below that box when the slide is in. Do you know how they fixed the bubble?
