Sunset Trails sewer handle

Once again the six foot long sewer handle is messed up.
I would like to have it changed to a better system.
Does anyone have pictures or diagrams of the sewer pipes under my rig?
It is a 2016 Sunset Trails 290QB...

My sewer handle from my 2013 Crossroads Rushmore. I dropped the plastic cover on the bottom too access the valves. Replaced with a solid steel cable handle. Nice and smooth now. IMG_20160624_072720_128.jpg

I've had to replace the long freekin' handle once already!
Now the gate valve is sticking.
Now, mind you, we are two women in our 70's and we can't keep dealing with this! That is why I ask for a picture to see if the gate valves could be moved out closer to the edge of the rig.
You know...where they are on every other rig on the planet!

Two options. They do make electric valves. But you would have to have them installed. Second, this valve goes on the end of your black pic pipe. Simple fix.

Good luck Gary

My cable to the grey water is extremely hard to pull in and out also. Trying to find at home projects for the time being. I crawled under my Cruiser Aire 2013 yesterday and after probing around. I came to the same conclusion of using the T-58 valve. I'll just keep the grey water open but still open and close the black water. The T-58 is a quick and easy fix for now, I don't want to start cutting and taping the underbelly cover.

If it were me, I wouldn't cut the membrane. I know it seems like daunting task to drop the membrane. It really isn't as bad as a person thinks it is.
If you don't know where the valve is located for sure, try feeling around to locate it. Then drop a small area so you can look around in there. Once you know where it's located, then you can decide how much has to come down.

You might not have to drop very much to work on it. Worse case is, you might have to talk the wife into helping you hold it back up till you get it started back in place.

The secret of getting the membrane back up. I attached two medium size C clamps to the membrane in the front. Threaded a heavy duty rope through them. Then backed my truck to the front of 5th wheel. With a ball hitch in the receiver, I wrapped the rope around the ball. Pulled nice and tight too stretch the membrane out. Hope this helps.
