Wiring for water heater

I have a 2009 Sunset Trail ST31 QB.

Problem with the water heater. The switch, that activates the heater, either 110 v AC or the DC side, the main feed ,which according to diagrams available show a line to the positive side of the battery.

All the AC fuses are good. Yet the positive feed shows no voltage.

Is there another box, maybe underneath, or elsewhere in the electrical panel that has a fuse and connects to the battery?

Thanks !!

I had a similar problem on mine. The connections were corroded and it wouldn't light. After cleaning them, it was fine.

My water heater circuit board (mounted on the outside of the heater) has a 2 amp fuse on it. Check that the fuse didn't blow.

The 12 volt switch to start to the gas circuitry should be lighted, that is your first clue that it has power. It triggers a relay on the water heater circuit board, and gets it's power from the main fuse panel, usually marked.
The 110 switch is about the same, it triggers a relay, and should also light up in use.
Almost all water heater electrical problems stem from the water heater wiring and circuit board, located inside the outside access door.
Look at the thermal cutoff for continuity. Corrosion can be an issue.

Thanks.

Yes the circuit is controlled by a fuse. Once I traced it all, the control box and wiring harness replacement did the trick.

I have a Crossroads Zinger ZR291RL. My electric water heater shows that it is on and working, but it does not heat the water. I cannot find the water heater unless the whole unit, gas and electric has to be removed. Has anyone else had this problem.

I had issue with my Zinger ZT260BH. Turns out it was the wiring shorting out.

Mark sure your winterizing valves or in the correct position for camping.
