Is this close enough to start thinking about it? Hmmm - let's see...what should I bring? How about something different...like roast beast of some sort! Smoked turkey? Maybe. Smoked pork roast? Maybe. Smoked beef? Maybe. Or maybe something completely different. Low country boil? So many choices. Need to have more rallies!

I have 2 30-amp sites and 2 20-amp sites ready to go. With electric, water and holding tank pump-out before you leave! C'mon down!

Not possible with this. The floor has separated from the slide. Cabinets are pulling away from the wall. We have water damage too. And the list goes on with several major issues. We just got it back from the factory on new years day and already this. Forest river is working hard to make this right for us. I have chased this one up the food chain. They want it to come back to them for them to see it and decide where to go from here. Waiting to see their solution which I likely won't be able to post but I'm pretty sure it will be worked out to our satisfaction.

Sorry to hear about the trouble you are having with your 5er...This subject is written about all the time on this forum, and I am sure on the Forrest River forum as well...It all brakes down to the fact that the assembly line has to be slowed down...I for one would rather have to wait for a WELL BUILT camper, than to have a camper ready for me the second I decide to buy, then have to deal with all kind of problems such as you are having to deal with now....

I hear ya tommy. Sadly, my issues are seen across all manufacturers. I've said it before and I'll say it again, what matters is how the manufacturer handles it. In my case forest river has been handling it well. I applaud that they are trying to make it right. Crossroads did well with my old zinger too. The attitude of the trailer owner makes a big difference in the process. I have been firm but patient, respectful, thankful and nice. This approach has worked well for me.

I agree with Anaro. My TT is done. It looks beautiful with the new paint. It is sitting behind a big snow berm at the dealer so not sure when I will get to pick it up. Other than them having it so long I feel my dealer has been very good. CR too. It only came with a 1 yr warranty but they stepped up and covered my skylight, rear wall, and faded cap. Just wanted to give you a positive post.

Anaro....sorry to hear of your troubles. I sure hope they get you squared away before too much of the season is done.
Sleepy T...got an update for our spot at the Rally. Twin Grove gave us a call and asked if we were with THE Mason-Dixon Bunch.(how many can there be??). Anyway, they relocated us to V10. See everyone there!!

HEY...WAKE UP!...its not freezing outside...or snowing, sleeting or freezing rain....time to start thinking about de-winterizing the camper....be rolling on the 19th for our first campout of the season....its getting exciting for sure....even if I do have to dig a path to the camper thru the existing snow.....

Wish I could, our first trip was supposed to be this weekend, instead It's being picked up on Wednesday to return to the factory. Here's hoping for a quick positive resolution.
