we'll talk at mason dixon about both places,if you dont already have resv. for carrabelle bch you might need some, pine mtn should be no problem mid week, we stayed at carrabelle bch resort( www.rvcoutdoors.com ),they have a location in pine mtn also, the last time.,,,, and at rooosevelt state pk both nice places, alternative are ,ramseys campground in warm springs ga and ho hum campground in car.bch both a lot cheaper, see ya in oct

I had a practice smoker run this past weekend at the Pocono race. Pork shoulder roast one night and chicken halves the other night. AWESOME!

Sounds yummy now can you bring it right on down to NC for us to have some? Oh and by the way, my DH thinks its hysterical that we are going from a couple hours northeast of charlotte all the way to endless caverns where we can watch the charlotte race at the nascar rv resort. I guess youtwo will have something in common.

I can bring it right on down to VA where everyone at the Rally can have some...and I will! Is the race that weekend Saturday nite or Sunday? I am a pretty serious NASCAR fan, but not fanatical.

It is sat night at 7:30pm. DH is a pretty big fan. He DVR's and watches every race. He gets pretty upset if something happens and the race doesn't record right. He was a Earnhardt(SR)fan, then a Dale JR fan (when he drove for DEI) now he is a Martin Truex JR fan. As for me, I couldtake itor leave it but it used to put me right to sleep when I needed to nap before working nightshift. Works better than any sleeping pill could

I'll have my satellite dish with me so having it at the camper won't be an issue. I understand the campground has a big screen for viewing the race.

And, yes, Joe...lot's of both...

Hi Everyone,

It has been a crazy summer for me and Tony. First, we got into the accident and then Tony's mom wasn't good so we were sitting vigil everyday. Thank God she has recouperated. We are right now away for the weekend in the Catskills. This has been our first trip since Gettysburg. We will be arriving at the Mason Dixon rally on Thursday and staying till Sunday. Looking forward to seeing everybody again.

Tony and Nancy

Glad to hear that things are going better for you two now. We are going camping this week with two of our grandkids. We took two in July and now it's time to take the other two. We may or may not make it to the Mason/Dixon rally as I am at this time striking against VerLIEzon. They say not, but they are trying to break the union. Money will probably be pretty tight by Oct., but we will try our best to be there. Take care.

Let's hope all this wierdness by Mother Nature is out of her system before the rally. Looking for warm days and cool nights for the campfire.
