Keith,

The Green's (bruce & Pat) will have to cancel our reservation in slot 6007. I have already talked to Buckhorn Lake and that slot is now open. Sorry we can't make it, we were so looking forward to the rally. Hope to catch everyone at the next one.

It was 80 something degrees here this afternoon, 73 degrees right now. Maybe you can shovel some of that snow down south, it will cool things off down here and help you thaw out the camper.

I'll ask Joyce to get out the heavy duty snow blower pointed your way.

Okay folks, I just got off the phone with Dave Boggs and we hope we have things worked out for the rally. If they (Dave and one maybe two others)can they will come out Friday evening and kind of kick back with us and get to know everyone, kind of a meet and greet.

I told Dave they will be more than welcome to have dinner with us asI am sure we will have plenty of food.

On Saturday we would like to have a Q&A session from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm and Crossroads will take care of lunch for everyone. We will have a few give aways we will do over lunch. This will give people some time in the afternoon to explore the local area after we have lunch and still get back for the potluck dinner.

I would like to thank Dave for his help and support of our rally and I appreciate Crossroads sending them all this way to meet with us.

Great news and I second "Old Farmer". It looks like it is going to be one heck of a teriffic rally.

I believe there may be a spot open so if you haven't made your reservations is probably isn't too late.

I'm a little upset with this Buckhorn place. Drove down last wk to look at the site I was given and had my plans set. I had a nice lot with lots of grass close to the pool for my child. I called Buckhorn today to ask about hookups and was told I'm no longer in that spot and I have been moved. Now I'm in the far corner away from the pool #6048B and I was told somebody else wanted the spot I was given for a month so they get it. I hope this spot is as nice and I hope I don't get moved again.Edited by: sking

Well after further review of the lot I am now in, I may no longer be attending. The lot I'm in is one you pull forward into and and that would not allow me to get my truck out. Another problem is it appears the hookups are on theopposite side if I back into it, and that would cost me a extra $100-200 for a 30 amp extension cord along with more sewer hose. I did not budget for the extras so I'm now at a loss over what to do. I like to quit while I'm still ahead so it looks like I may be making plans elsewhere for my daughter and I for that weekend.

I called the park and I don't know why you were told you would be in 6048B but that is not where you will be. 6048B is a back in site so even if you were in it the utilities would be on the correct side for your trailer. They told me right now you would be in 6091 which is a pull thru site. If you were moved again it would only be at check in because they could get you closer to the group.

Let me explain what they are trying to do and why some people may not be in the sites they were told when you made reservations. Everyone in the rally circle will be in those sites and all others they are going to try and put as close as possible to that circle when you check in. This is to try and get us all as close together as they can because they know we are part of the same group. That is why it was important to let them know when you made reservations that you were with the Crossroads Rally group. They are doing the best they can to keep us together and still deal with the regular and long termcustomers they have staying there. I went through the entire list I have of all the attendees with them this morning to make sure they know all the people in the Crossroads group so they will know who to try and keep as close to the rally circle as they can at check in.

Frank,

Spring is already here in central Tx. The Live Oak trees are dropping last year's leaves, the Red Bud tree in my yard is budding out (and it is a late bloomer), and there are baby chicks in one of our bird houses. All that is missing is a new Cruiser.

Warm here too, that is it's above freezing. Snowpack has dropped about 2" in the last couple days but still won't see the ground around the house 'til June.
