I wanted to let everyone know that Buckhorn has a guy that comes out and does washing and waxing of RV's at the Resort. I had ours washed and waxed at New Years and I have already signed up with the park to have ours washed while we are at the rally. With the wash they clean the roof and then wash the trailer and rinse it withpurified water. With the wax you get the same thing plus a wax after the trailer has dried. Here are the prices below in case anyone is interested. If you would like either of the services contact the park to get on the list as soon as you can.

Wash - $1.65 a foot

Wash and Wax - $4.50 a foot with a $160 minimum

I am thinking of golfing Sunday Morning. Are there any other golfers attending the Rally who would like to play the local course?

Well we are just a couple of weeks away now. Looks like we are set on the number of people attending. I will post the food list for the potluck dinners and the list of people wanting to attend the Saturday morning breakfast this weekend. I think I have everything covered but if anyone can think of something I might have missed please let me know.

I may be willing to take that bet over a golf game.

I would also like to send a big Thank You out to Lloyd (Old Farmer) who was not able to attend the rally this year but who roast his own coffee and has been kind enough to volunteer to send me some of his special blend for us to enjoy at the rally.

After looking forward to the Rally since October this is really hard to write. I too boldly stated on February 24 that nothing would keep us from the event, however, Joyce suffered an injury to her right index finger that requires an orthopedic surgeon's care on a weekly basis through next month. Who'd a thought? She's (and I'm) really unhappy that we won't be able to meet so many terrific members of the Crossroads family. I've mentioned to her that there are less drastic ways to get out of shoveling snow...like, hey, it's Spring..snow melts! Anyway, Keith knows...Buckhorn knows...site 6012 is open as of this morning. Hope someone on the waiting list can make it. Truly sorry about the cancellation, but count us in for the Texas Rally 2012!

For those that have signed up for the Saturday morning breakfast I would like to see if we could all go at about 8:30 that morning. After talking with the park this morning if we could wait until 8:30 to go they will get most of the other park guest in and out by the time we get there since they open at 8:00 so it would mainly be us Crossroads people after 8:30. I thought that would be a good idea and told them we will plan our breakfast get together then. I don't know about the rest of you but we are ready to hit the road....
