My wife received her first of two shots about a week and a half ago. She was able to get hers because of her job. I am retired so I have not been able to get the vaccine yet. Yes I wish that the process was moving more quickly. I think everyone just wants things to get back to “normal”, whatever that is. I hope everyone stays healthy.

I agree. I’m retired Law Enforcement but still work PT as a bailiff in the court system. I haven’t heard anything yet. You’d think they would be faster. But unfortunately, I don’t have faith in the system anymore. Is what it is! A lot of officers here in our county have had COVID or has it.

Just got an email from my local medical center. They said by being on their patient portal, I am automatically registered for the vaccine, although no date was given.

My wife and son got their first shots about two weeks ago (both work at a healthcare/retirement community). I'm retired and somewhat more vulnerable but haven't heard anything solid. One of our county commissioners (in PA) said the 65+ age group would be sometime after June 1.

Boy I hope that prediction is wrong...It took less than a year to develop the vaccine, you gonna tell me the Pa. government can't get it out to the seniors in less time than six months...That's CRAP...

Well I live is Canada, the whole country is pathetic. Our infection rate is higher than the doses being given out. Now you say it wouldn't be hard to do that..
But you have to understand we are under 10,000 infections per day up here. In fact just over 6800 ppl were infected yesterday.
They say we might see it by September, even though I'm considered a essential worker.
I wanna be able to cross the border in end of July for camping for a couple weeks in ND/SD. Have some real big archery tournaments I would like to participate.

We were notified yesterday that working in construction makes us "essential workers",
and are eligible to register and "fast track" to get the shot.
Myself, and the 6 men working for me opted not to get the vaccine.

I’ll catch up to it when its more widely available, if I survive! Lol

I work in the construction side of health care. Our crew did receive the shot due to the fact we are working on the same floor at times as COVID patients and do not want to bring it outside the facility. Whether it will work or not is yet to be seen. Got the 2nd dose last Monday and boy, side effects stuck with me for 2 days. Drained, tired, arm was sore and couple hours of a fever, which were all side effects.
Father in law in Southern Colorado got his and the in laws in Northern CO are scheduled to receive theirs. Hopefully they get more doses rolling out soon for those of you ready for it.

I have a few friends wo work in the medical who have gotten both doses of the vaccine. they say the process is so slow, that the general public will not see the availability till till late summer at best. Also they stated the testing process is still in shambles. they test kits as some people call it is still in very short supply. the whole process is terrible and soo messed up, the medical field says....

I'm in NY. I got my first one last week, and will get my second one mid-Feb. I'm a teacher, and face to face with my students. I got the Moderna shot. Getting an appoint was very tricky, and they filled up really fast! Supply is limited, everywhere.
