Is battery needed if RV just stays in one place plugged in?

I just got this Crossroads Longhorn 2014 RV and there was no 12v battery in it. It'll always be plugged in. If the power goes out there's a backup generator system in place for the overall area. Is the battery needed to make other things in the RV work correctly? Thanks.

Find the manufacture of your converter and check with them or in your manual. We have a WFCO 9875 deck mount and the paper work states it can be run without a battery.
