Satellite question

I'm considering getting a Dish Playmaker and Wally receiver for my 2018 Sunset Trails 222rb.
My question to anyone who has added a satellite dish, can you use the "satellite" connection on the back of the trailer to connect the satellite and then use the "satellite" connection in the cabinet to hook up to the receiver. Or does the receiver need to be connected directly to the satellite dish?

Any feedback is appreciated

If it’s hooked up right from factory it should work. But it’s a roll of the dice.

I use the equipment you're considering. All connections have worked as you described including back to my 2008 Sunset Trail.

Never had one and never seen how they hook up but I think that if you hook up to the satellite plug on the rear of the trailer then from the connector in your cabinet to the receiver then from the receiver to the TV you should be there.

It may depend on the type of cable that runs through the trailer. As long as it is suitable to your system it should work.
