Shower-should I seal bottom seam?

2014 Longhorn that I bought that I'm working on getting ready. The shower had some caulking or something on the bottom seam but it looked like some gaps. I tried using Dap Kwik Seal but it didn't hold in some places (see photos). As I reading looking for better sealant I came across some posts saying that the bottom wasn't meant to be sealed on some RV showers as there was a separate plastic piece behind the wall. So now I'm not sure 1)if it's supposed to be sealed or 2) If it is, the best sealant. Thanks for any tips.

It seems counterintuitive, but Leave the shower with a gap. Donít calk. The shower pan is free floating and is meant to be that way because itís an rv shower. The bottom gap allows air to circulate between the walls and the pan in order to dry out any moisture that accumulates behind the wall.
