I came across some batteries at a good price (used). Please help me understand what thesespecs mean. I do understand some.Thanks

Float charge 13.5 to 13.8VDC @ 77* F

12 Volt

100 AH (20 hr rate to 17.5VPC @ 77* F)

388 WPC (15 min rate to 1.67 VPC @ 77* F)

IEC rating 85.4 AH (10 hr rate to 1.8VPC @ 20* C)

Are these considered AGM's or GEL's ? No top caps ( sealed)

IMHO - I would be real leery about used batteries. Age and care come into play heavily with direct impact on your systems.

Have you / can you check them to be sure they fall into spec?
