TPO roof cleaning

I see a ton of products for cleaning the epdm roofs but nothing specific for TPO. My manual says use a non abrasive detergent but doesn’t give a specific example. What’s is everyone using to clean these type of roofs?

To wash it occasionally using any convenient detergent and a soft brush or sponge mop. Don't use Dawn, it rinses down the sides and removes any type of protectant you applied to it. Some folks like to use a product like Protect-all Rubber Roof Treatment or a similar product from other manufacturers.
I personally use the Thetford brand of cleaner. Your choice.

I’ve still got a bottle of the protect all cleaner. I think I will just use that. Wasn’t sure if I could use it on TPO roofs. The dealer made a big deal about it being different then an EPDM. Thanks for the input

This will tell how to determine which roof material you have.

I didn’t know how to determine the type of roofing. Thanks for the video! I haven’t cleaned the roof of my RV because I’ve heard a lot of rumours that one should not do that. Many people think it’s better to let the top build its “layer of protection” from all the stuff that falls onto it and the dust. I can understand it to some extent, but now the roof of my RV is just too dirty, and I want it clean before I put it to rest for the winter. That’s why I’m getting it to sparklewash.com this week to clean it properly inside and out. I will tell the guys there that the roof is made of EPDM. They should know what to do with it.
