Hi gang
Took my rig out of winterization this weekend getting ready for our 1st trip.
While testing the appliances I’m getting the DSI fault while trying to run the water heater on gas mode. It’s no longer in bypass mode. It’s Dometic/Atwood heater. It does the usual stuff; tries to ignite 3 times then trips the DSI light. The burner tube & exhaust are clean & clear. Still testing electric mode, Waiting for it to heat up.
Remind me what the usual causes are? I’m suspecting the ECO but want to try all the simple stuff 1st. I’ve got a 2021 Sunset trails 212RB.

Hey Dags!
Yea, the gas is flowing fine. Furnace, stove and oven are all working.
I tried it 2 or 3 times. When you were having trouble starting yours, did it behave like mine? tried to ignite 3 times then trigger the DSI fault)?
I’ll try a few more times tomorrow

Ours acted like that a few years back. What I did is just change the board rather than spend a bunch of money finding someone to tell me my board for was bad for probably the same price as the $225 board. When I was hunting around looking at reviews about the chinese board I was replacing, I stepped upon a review that directed me to these made in america boards by Dinosaur. I read up on them and reviews were very positive and Utube video were also supportive. I educated myself through there site to order the correct board and ordered it, problem solved and never looked back. When the fridge or furnace act up there also getting that Dinosaur brand electronic board. i'm quite aware of the made in china junk and don't need that hassle when out camping. here's there link. I'd bet this fixes it. https://dinosaurelectronics.com
Thanks everyone. Let it sit overnight and it fired right up.
The igniter area did get a little wet yesterday after I serviced it. So today after it dried out it fired up in the first attempt.

Thanks for letting us know what you found. It can help others. I found that mine never lights after I get thing wet in that compartment, and I see the ignitor spark shorts to someplace other than the ignitor tip.

Glad you got it to light. In answer to your question the wife said it took 4 times for it to purge the air and light. Yes it did just like yours. Our Cruiser would light usually after 2-3 cycles when de winterizing and first light up of the season. Just takes a while to purge the air and depending on the propane line routing some take longer than others,

Now that you say that, I remember Mine did the same thing back a few years. I had totally forgot that.
Thanks for posting back, and thanks for jogging my memory.
