It is called my detail guy and have it done every spring and fall. I used to detail trailers after work and weekends back in the day and used a 3 wheel orbital pols her that worked great. I used single wheel ones and the trick is to have 2 or 3 different foam wheels for the different waxes. It will give you a good workout. I do not have time while working so I hire it out. 225 twice a year

Thanks woodwalker. I spent the last half hour looking for a 3 wheel polisher online.

What I was hoping to hear about is what some are using for a tool to apply the wax and then buff it off.
Plus what their opinions are of what they are using.
Something that can be purchased today at the local auto shop or dept. store.
I've went thru a couple orbital buffers.
Plus I'm sorry to say, neighborhood kids and detailers are not an option where I live.

Lloyd, like I said before I don't wax my Rv. Don't believe in wax. I use Rejex, a polymer coating. Rub in on with cloth by hand, and just rub it off. Really not much effort. I do only a front or back a day, and split the sides into two days.

Yes, I remember you saying you use Rejex. I have never used it, but have seen it used down in TX. when we were there for a rally. The rigs looked really nice when they finished.
I should probably knock on wood, I have always used turtle wax. My rig is a 2008. Still will produce a very nice shine and the decals have not cracked or split (yet) and they get waxed right over along with everything else.
So it's pretty hard to convince me to switch at this point.
I would just like to hear from others about what tool they are using.

I also use Turtle Wax products. I have had very good results using the TW Ice the last couple times, just spray, wipe, buff off with a towel, took 2 mornings to do the entire 5er. I also use TW Wax & Dry on my truck, after washing & while towel drying mist it on & wipe it off, works on plastic, glass, chrome, & paint, very pleased with it, BTW we use it on our shower also, not the floor though.

I use meguiars spray on wax. Spray it on, wipe it with a cloth. Easy peasy. Works great.

I've converted from Rejex to Nu Finish applied and buffed with Shurhold's random orbital buffer. Shurhold also has polishing and cleaning products for every application since they're a Florida outfit big with boats.

I have been using the 10" Autoright Orbital buffer/polisher on the larger areas and a foam polish applicator in the tighter areas where the buffer wont fit. To remove I use a micro fiber cloth or a micro fiber bonnet on the buffer. As for wax I have been using a product called Driven, it's a polymer like Rejex. I have been using several of their products and have very good results with everything they make.

Hey LLoyd-
I'm presently in Tombstone and the buffer is home. I've had it for 4-5 years without problems. At that time they were making the lower end one on a special for around $150 which included foam pads, polish, carrying bag, etc.

I use a no waterless quick detail spray. It works awesome and makes it slick as dog stuff. It is kind of expensive but works amazingly well.

I use the pink RV Wash & Wax and don't wax separately.
Works well on the stick & tin.
