Winterization questions

I have a z-1 which I will have for the first winter (in Canada). I know all about the antifreeze procedure but I have two other questions.
1. Do people cover up the vents and air condition?

2. Is it good/bad practice to put down the four stableizing jacks during the winter? Someone had told me that I did not need to do it and to just let the axel/tongue jack stablize the trailer and maybe raise it so it's on a slight grade towards the back.

Any insight would be great.

You have very different conditions then I will ever have here but I dont cover anything except the tires. Tires are on 2x* boards, not the ground.
I leave the vent that has an external cover open just a bit and I put all four legs down.

I don't cover anything either, but I do store mine under a shelter. I only lower the landing gear and leave my stabilizers up. I park it level. I bought one of these rubber mats, Rubber Mat, Black, 4 ft. x 6 ft. x 3/4 in. - For Life Out Here, at Tractor Supply and cut it into two 2' x 6' mats. I park the tires on them.

I put my jacks down to help support the snow. If there is a lot of snow, I go out and carefully drag some off to ease the load on the roof.
