New to Cross Roads Family

Hello CRO Forum. We are counting down the days (Friday) till we pick up our new ST270BH and my wife and I are so excited. I grew up camping with my family as a youngster so I have missed camping!. Now that I have a little one of my own (20 months old) I am excited to give Jackson the opportunity to enjoyed the camping life I enjoyed. I have been logging onto the forum for the past 2 weeks and I have gained so much knowledge from everyone so I thank you. I look forward to chatting with you and bring on some worm weather, I am ready to camp!!!!!!

Welcome Welcome Welcome

The ST270BH is a great unit. Outside kitchen is awesome especially in warm weather. We have a 300BH and have never cooked inside the camper except for the toaster.

With the little one, it should fit your needs for a long, long time! We started out with a pop up when the kids were little.....wish we moved to a TT sooner!

We did not start camping until later in life (2009). Wish we would have started eariler so our children could have had the camping experience. So welcome to the forum and congrats on the new camper...

We bought it from Sonnys RV in Comcord. It has been a great purchasing experience so. I hope it doesn't change when I go to pick it up tomorrow and I outré sent them with the PDI sheet that I download thanks to the forum. I am very though guy and the PDI was atrue find. I know how techs can be, teach fast and get out!!! Not with this ol' boy.
So where do you in NC?

Video tape the pdi. Do not hand over any money until the pdi is done and everything is fixed to your satisfaction. If it opens, closes, turns on or off make sure they not only demo it but you return the demo. This includes hooking up your wdh. Make them show you how to winterize and dewinterize. We are in mebane (alamance county), how about you?

Welcome! We purchased new in April 2013. The advice we've been given on this site has been spot on! Every issue we've had, someone also had some experience with and was willing to share. As you continue to get to know your new RV, you will find this site of great value!

Enjoy!

I saw you are camping a lot between now and Easter. Do you ever get up to sycamore lodge, Jordan lake, Kerr lake or anything up this way? We cancelled our trip to sycamore tomorrow due to the sleet but will be there again in April. By the way, check out the mason Dixon group on the rally page. They camp in va every Oct. Be careful getting your tt home tomorrow.
