2015 elevation Richmound
I own 2015 elevation Richmound nice rv but all kinds of silly things but the biggest problem is the sealant they used it's looks some kind of acrylic caulking that is separating from the rv walls causing water leaks. Water in the bedroom tipout the worse. Not sure anyone's come across this same issue

Your pics are a little hazy, but it looks to me like normal cracking do to age, and flexing. That is a problem that comes with owning a RV. I usually go over mine every year to see if there are areas that need re caulking.
There is a couple brands of caulk used for the job.
Pro flex and Dicor. I know Dicor has a lap sealant used on the sides, and a self leveling used on the roof. Regardless of which one you use, it's advisable to remove the old caulk first and clean up the area (I use rubbing alcohol) before applying the new caulk.
There is also etern bond tape.

For the window and hatch sealants, I recommend something like Geocel Pro Flex Rv Flexible Sealant. This stuff if pliable and easy to work with. Just clean off the old like Lloyd said. It is not made to adhere to prior sealant.

In my opinion it's pretty shoddy work I will take your suggestions into consideration and again thanks

Well as a result. If crossroads shoddy workmanship on sealing theses units the floor in my bedroom tipout is rotten along with delimitation on the ramp door. Very disappointed In there craftsmanship and quality control. Can't believe in 3 years I have water damage on 70,000 dollar unit crossroads should be a shamed of themselves

They should be, but of course their not. They would say maintenance prevention. As I always say; you get screwed at the drive thru.

I would be interested in pics. I've got water damage in the floor in my hauler, I am still trying how to figure out how to take care of it myself.

Did you do the replacement yourself, or did you send it out to be done?
Any tips for someone in a similar predicament?

My issue is in the hauler. I took off the aluminum plate back there and discovered that the black rubber mat is actually under the frame, so I am going to have to cut it to remove it. It is also glued down pretty well, so it looks like when I do take it off it will be pretty well ruined.
For now I am just avoiding that spot
Thanks,
Bill
