Another new guy here,
Purchased a 2013 251BH back in September and tow with a Jeep Commander. We upgraded from a 1986 Hi-Lo that was the exact same length and weight, but the Z1 is much roomier.
We already had it out a week on South Bass Island. We're very happy with it so far!

I just received my Z-1 271BH yesterday and my heater will not light, I'm really not happy. Also have found the wood under the foot of my bed was broken. Not having a good experience with Camping World...... not sure how you buy a brand new camper with Cash and get it already broken....
Despite this we will dry run it on Saturday and see how it goes....
Still trying to figure out how big of a TV I can install in the livingroom.....

We just bought a 251BH - it's a 2014 - and should be here in a few weeks. Winter is still hanging on around here so, a little wait is just fine.

well, we spent one cold night in it as the heater never worked and it's been sitting since my Wife had her surgery. It's getting picked up on Monday to go back to the dealer to fix the items that made our first night in it a pain in the ###. I wonder when I'll get to use it....

Thats too bad, guess they did not check that on the pdi.
Sorry to hear some people still having poor weather, as we have been out already, as it turned to summer temps quickly here last week.

I hung a 32" flat screen in my living and a 19" flat in the bedroom. Works great.

That's good to hear, That's pretty much what I was thinking except I want a 19 inch in the Bunk area and another 32 inch in the bedroom. I have an email out to eh Manufacturer to see if that is acceptable.
On a lighter note: It took a LOT of complaining to catch the ears of the dealership. I understand it gets busy as I work in an industry where everything is an emergency to our customers but I have never treated them the way I was treated. I didn't even get an offer of a freebee thrown in.... I can't wait to get thru this nightmare and finally start camping.

Did you get the heater working. I always carry an oil filled electric heater. Gives good silent heat.

x2. I use 2 oil heaters in the house all winter for years now. Beats listening to the furnace run all the time. Cost less too!

yup!, heat works too great now. I'm geating ready to close her up now as I write this as the CG only had Fri and Sat to give us a site. The weather was garbage these past two days so we did'nt really get to enjoy much. I did however find my bathroom door knob has a stripped screw and is loose and the door does'nt latch when closed. I' m guessing it's the way I have the stab jacks thats keeping the door from locking shut which caused me to start looking at the door knob and thats how I found it was messed up. The weather also also gave me time to install the TV mounts on the walls and hang the 32 inch led which fits perfect! You can plug the line out from the TV to the aux port on the stereo and pipe the TV audio into all the speakers. well I hope next week is better.
Happy Camping!!

Glad you are enjoying your Z-1. Purchased a never-used 2012 in July and have taken it on 3 trips so far. It tows easily and seems like a palace to my wife and me after, first, having a Casita and, then, a Cruiser RV FunFinder 189 before buying the Z-1.
